You can’t just go once

I didn’t know what to expect on my African Safari.  I only knew that adventure was calling, and I was eager to learn more about photography and meet some new people.  It turns out it was so much more than an adventure, learning a few cool tricks and hanging out with a cool group of people.

Zimbabwe and the people (whom I now call friends) I got to experience this wonderful country with became a spiritual journey for me.  Never have I been to a place that spoke so deeply to my soul.  My connection with Africa, Zimbabwe, her people and my travelling companions is almost beyond words to describe how much love and joy they all brought to me.  I still get emotional thinking about it.

Our accommodations was beyond just glamping out in the bush.   Each camp felt like home.  The whole experience was flawless.  Tracy’s love for Africa was evident in everything she planned for us.  Her attention to detail and the magic she constantly worked on behind the scenes is impeccable.

I was told by others who’ve traveled to Africa, be careful you can’t just go once.  They were right!  So right, that we set up another trip for 2020. Unfortunately, due to the state of things has been postponed to 2021.   I think my heart fell to my knees knowing I had to wait 2 more years before I planted my feet on African soil again.  I know it will be worth the wait!

In the meantime, I’ll relive my experiences through the beautiful photos my friends and I took.

Thank You Tracy for not just planning a trip but for sharing your love for Africa.
