Luxury Group Botswana Photo Safari 2024

Most importantly, a huge thanks to you and Brent for the behind the scenes organisation and keeping me informed well in advance of important and relevant info.

I loved the group whats app chat set up where people contributed tips etc on what was essential to take and relevant info from their past experiences.

With all this info I was well prepared and had flights, accommodation, visas, insurance, vaccinations …….. all completed well ahead of due dates.

The thoughtful gifts you provided (hat, water bottle and neck warmer) were used every day and I am still using them 3 months after the trip was completed.

The accommodation was incredible, in both places – way better than I was expecting. Despite having done a lot of camping for many decades, I have never been ‘glamping”

and this was glamping on steroids for me – particularly the second (last) place we stayed.

I am not used to “high tea” each afternoon at 4, but I could easily get used to G n T at 4 or a champagne ……

The range and quality of food was superb (healthy, tasty, nutritious and plentiful). Also, served by happy, smiling and courteous staff. Extremely professional in both campsites.

I was also very impressed with the knowledgeable, friendly and approachable guides / drivers. I felt totally safe every time I was in the jeep and once again, the jeeps were of a

very high standard re space, comfort and ride.

I loved the 3 flights we had in the small aircraft, as it was safe and great viewing the Okavango Delta from above.

Most importantly, above all else, the group itself just capped off the list of highlights. Each person was friendly, affable, interesting and had a positive approach. I learned a

great deal about the animals, nature in general and of course hints on improving my general photography. Brent in particular helped me improve my settings and other

techniques so that I have a much better ratio of ‘keepers” than I usually experience. It was also rewarding each evening to share our personal highlights of the day after the meal.

There were many special moments during the trip and as I gradually go through all the photos (3 months on and I am still not finished doing this!!), and it is rewarding for me to

share various memories and highlights etc with my wife and friends. One particular evening during the trip, in fact it was the final night at the first camp for me, the whole staff

danced and sang a traditional song for us. I found it incredibly moving – such unlimited joy in their voices and movements. I actually had tears (joyous) during this experience.

Such is the beauty and richness that exists in parts of Africa, and I felt incredibly privileged to be there to experience it.

Thank you again to you and Brent for your part in bringing it all together.
