All in all an amazing trip and what a lovely group

We’d like to thank you for the wonderful safari we did with you. It was so good to see the Victoria Falls again, we were last there over 20 years ago and thoroughly enjoyed the views from the ground and from the heli. The Victoria Safari Lodge was well situated as far as we could tell, not really being familiar with the town surroundings.

Somalisa was lovely and relaxed, and the profusion of game in Hwange was far beyond anything we might have anticipated. What a treat. Great photographic opportunities everywhere we went. The 500 odd buffalo at the waterhole being shared by incoming elephant and later lion was something we’ll never forget. Both guides were excellent, Calvet in addition being the storyteller and entertaining us with his warrior approach and story at the lunch in the bush. I felt it was part of his genuine gift to us. To cap it all we had the elephant almost join us for lunch..

Ghoha Hills was a lovely spot, great staff, super- friendly and helpful in every respect, situated on top of the hill is spectacular, what a view. Also guides were happy to show us everything they and we could find. We had phenomenal sightings there. So enjoyed the camp with a very different feel to any we’ve been to.

All in all was an amazing trip and what a lovely group, new friends having been made and invitations extended from each side.

Thanks for the gifts, the neck scarves and beanies were invaluable and my Cheetah charm must have brought us the luck we needed to have spotted them at the next stop on our journey.
